Aspen

The Aspen I was our first Spring Lottery Dream home, completed in 2022. This home blends a mix of complementary finishes and materials that are appealing to a wide demographic.

The Challenge

With this being our first majorly-publicized custom home, there was a lot of high anticipation for its grand reveal. The goal with building a Lottery Dream Home, is to be well received by a large demographic, of course while still incorporating trending materials & finishes for stateliness wow factor.

Embracing the architecture of the home, we sourced a small-scaled brick adding a southern, old-world charm. The colonial mullions, tapered facade, and steep roof pitches enhance its grand stature.

The Results

Stepping inside boasts complementary modern finishes and textures adding layers of depth and visual interest.

Plenty of detailed trim work is thoughtfully placed creating a natural flow traveling throughout. Feelings of familiarity transpire by repeating many of the same shapes, colours, and textures lending to the homes’ composure.

Upscaled details and finishes such as the meticulous island millwork, organic shaped tiles, seamless two-story range hood, arched doorways, and to-the-ceiling cabinetry, offers an everlasting moment of timeless design.

Damien

The Damien is what we referred to as a “spec” home. With no specific buyer in mind, we geared this cozy home around its modest footprint emphasizing function where possible. We aimed to utilize every square inch.

The Challenge

With this home being so compact, there was a lot of strategic design in mind.

We wanted the exterior to sit apart from the neighbouring homes that presented modern black & white facades. We also wanted to reflect much of the same colour palette from the interior on the exterior for a cohesive look.

The Results

We chose a variety of creamy neutrals to err on the side of versatility. In the kitchen we opted for a hutch-tower cabinet to gain extra storage.

The benefit of this additional storage space outweighed the loss of counter space, and helped to create a balanced looking wall.

Thoughtful furniture pieces is another excellent solution to gaining functional & aesthetically pleasing storage.

Brady

The Brady I was our second Spring Lottery Dream home, completed in 2023. This home boasts an earthy colour aesthetic and classic design.

The Challenge

With this being another majorly-publicized home, the expectations were high.

With such positive feedback from the Aspen I, we felt eager to make bolder decisions with this one. Go big or go home!

The Results

Embracing the modern-Tudor style of architecture, we sourced a small-scaled brick in the taupe & brown colour family.

The modern window mullions, tapered façade, and placement of materials emphasize the modern take on its era.

The architecture of this home is unique to the neighbourhood, setting it apart from bordering developments.

Livie I

The Livie I was a model home completed in 2021. This showpiece was meant to serve as a true model home, for potential buyers to experience the builders’ quality, floorplans, and finishes. With the housing demand however, this beauty didn’t last long off-market, and was acquired before its completion.

The Challenge

With this being a model, the goal here is to inspire and play around with new ideas. Of course, during an all-white kitchen era, we went dark!

The curated finishes on this exterior, simply put, is refreshing. Rich mahogany wood accents, paired with deep saturated blues and crisp whites fair beautifully together.

The Results

The black cabinetry was a brave decision, but with the amount of natural light that would pour in, it was an easy one to make. High-end finishes include waterfalls of quartz, continuous quartz backsplash + shelf, custom metal range hood, arched doorways, and built-in custom bookshelves.

The upper glass cabinets have red oak wood backings incorporated to tie in with the lowers on the range wall.

Crowned with two stunning light fixtures, this kitchen really is a talking reference to modern elegance and timeless design.

Manhattan

The Coastal spec home

The Challenge

This beauty started as another Spec home. Part way through the build process, the project had been sold to move-in ready buyers.

With the timeline at hand, adjustments to some design features were able to be made to commensurate the sale. This home is a blend of homeowner selections, and our original designs.

The Results

Corner lots always open up more design opportunities. A typical house has one focal point being at the front of the house, but with corner lots you really need to think about how to wrap those finishes around.

We went with something a little more eye-catching that this development hasn’t seen. We exercised lots of black accents to give this home a striking pose that carried around the bend.

The interior expresses coastal notes, working with warm wood tones, champagne metals, and a cool blue-gray colour palette.
